Players may refer to these as loot, crates, prizes, or rewards, but in this article we’ll call them chests, since that’s the official in-game term.
Use Your Scanner to Find Chests
The primary way to find chests in Planet-X is by using your scanner.
When activated, your scanner consumes elixir and reveals nearby hidden chests. These chests are not visible by default, so without scanning, you’ll miss most of what’s available on the map.
If you want consistent loot, using your scanner regularly isn’t optional—it’s essential.
Chests Spawn Randomly Each Match
Chests are randomly distributed across the map every time you play.
That means:

Some runs will naturally have better chest density than others
Staying mobile and scanning often is the best way to increase your chances of finding more chests.
Chest Rarity Types
There are three types of chests in Planet-X:

Sometimes, mothership beams randomly shine down on the map.

You Can Also Get Prizes From Other Players
Another effective way to collect prizes is by eliminating other players.
If a player has already gathered chests and you take them out, you can pick up everything they were carrying. This can be one of the fastest ways to get a lot of prizes quickly—but it comes with higher risk.
