Welcome to the Planet-X Glossary — a plain‑English reference for the core mechanics, items, currencies, locations, and systems you’ll encounter while playing Planet‑X.
This glossary is designed to be beginner‑friendly. Acronyms are spelled out and definitions focus on how each term actually matters during gameplay.
A
ADS (Aim Down Sight)
When you press the aim button to look through your weapon’s sights or scope for more precise shooting.
AoE (Area of Effect)
Damage or effects that impact multiple targets within a defined radius rather than a single enemy.
A versatile mid‑range weapon class balanced for accuracy, fire rate, and sustained damage.
Artifact
A rare Planet-X item used as a measure of collection progress and prestige.
B
Battle Arena
A 1v1 competitive combat zone where players fight against other players to prove their dominance.
Beach
A biome featuring open sightlines and lighter cover, favoring ranged combat and mobility.
C
Chest
The item you search for within Planet-X. Chests contain valuable items, currency, skins, and other prizes.
Custom UI (User Interface)
Player‑configured interface elements that allow customization of HUD layout, controls, and on‑screen information.
D
Daily Time Trial
A speed‑focused challenge where players compete to reach the finished line first!
Desert
A biome characterized by wide open spaces, limited cover, and environmental hazards.
DPS (Damage Per Second)
A metric representing how much damage a weapon or ability deals over time.
E
A consumable resource used to activate abilities, power special actions, or enhance performance.
Respawn instantly after being eliminated
Extraction
The core gameplay loop of entering a zone, collecting resources, and safely escaping with your loot.
Extraction Rocket
A designated location where players must reach and survive in order to successfully earn found loot.

Gems
A premium currency earned through gameplay and progression. Can be used to buy items from the in-game shop.
Gyroscope
A control option that uses device motion for aiming precision.

Hitbox
The invisible area of a character or object that determines whether attacks register as hits.
Hoverboard
A tool that allows rapid movement across terrain while maintaining momentum. Hoverboards use Elixir.
Hunt
A single run or session within Planet‑X where players deploy, gather loot, and attempt extraction.
A bonus multiplier earned by consistently completing hunts.

Knife
The primary close quarters combat weapon players can use in Planet-X.
L
A heavy weapon class designed to deal explosive or high‑impact damage.
Loadout
The combination of weapons, armor, abilities, and items selected before a hunt.
Loot Crate
A container that yields randomized rewards such as items, skins, or currency.
M
Mothership
The central hub and narrative anchor of Planet‑X operations.
Mothership Beam
A beam of light that highlights where a chest is located on the map. These will deploy periodically within hunts to help players find chests.
Mushroom
A biome featuring dense terrain, vertical cover, and close‑quarters engagements.

Planet‑X
The primary game universe and extraction environment where all gameplay takes place.
Planet‑X‑GO
A Pokemon Go style mobile game where you search the real world for prizes. The 2nd game in the Gallaxia ecosystem.
Planet‑X Pro Subscription
A paid subscription offering enhanced progression, rewards, or quality‑of‑life features.
Planet‑X VIP Subscription
A premium tier providing additional benefits beyond the Pro subscription.
Power-Up
A temporary enhancement that boosts player stats, abilities, or survivability.
Expands your scanner's range dramatically for a short time.

Risk vs Reward
The strategic balance between pushing deeper for better loot vs. extracting safely.
RNG (Random Number Generation)
Systems that introduce randomness into loot, encounters, or outcomes.
S
Seeka Egg
A collectible Egg that will transform into a creature. These are one of Planet-X's assets.
Shield
A defensive mechanic that absorbs damage before health is affected.
Shop
An in‑game marketplace where players spend currency on items, upgrades, or cosmetics.
A weapon that shoots a wide beam and knocks players off their hoverboards.
Skins
Cosmetic items that change the appearance of weapons, armor, or characters. Skins do not affect stats or give an advantage.
SMG (Submachine Gun)
A close‑range weapon class with high fire rate and mobility.
A long‑range weapon class focused on precision and high burst damage.
Solar Storm
An environmental event that alters visibility, limits players to only a knife, and highlights an area with a rare chest.
Supercharged red Elixir that boosts your damage output.
Swamp
A biome with limited visibility and terrain that slows movement.

Training Mode
A low‑risk environment for testing weapons, mechanics, and loadouts.
Tournaments
Organized competitive events with rankings and rewards.

VOLT
A weapon that delivers a shock do a player and drains them of their elixir.
W

X
X‑Armoury
The online trading center used for all Planet-X skins, rewards, and other assets. Users can buy, sell, and trade their items here.
X‑Blade
The spaceship that transports X-Droids to the map they hunt on.
The primary Planet-X Asset. X-Droids are the unit that you hunt with. Only 10,000 X-Droids are in existence.
X‑Key
X-Keys allow the user to participate in Mega hunts.
X-Token
The primary in-game currency used to purchase real rewards from the X-Vault. Your X-Tokens will reset periodically.
X-Pod
X-Pods hold X-Droids. They are both the pod that an X-Droid rides in while being transported to Planet-X, and they are the pod you open to discover what unique X-Droid is inside.
X‑Vault
The in-game reward shop where players can view the winnable prizes.
