What is an X-Droid?

An X-Droid is a limited ownership asset within Planet-X that unlocks expanded participation across the ecosystem.

There are 10,000 unique X-Droids in existence, distributed across six rarity tiers. Owners gain access to higher-stakes events, exclusive hunts, staking rewards, and additional earning opportunities layered on top of the core game.

X-Droids can be purchased on the secondary market via OpenSea.

​

Planet-X itself remains fully free to play. Every player can explore, extract, and compete using a base X-Droid by default — no ownership required.

X-Droids are designed for players who want deeper involvement. They don’t gate the experience; they extend it.

Once per month, Planet-X hosts an X-Treme Hunt — a separate, high-value competition distinct from standard free hunts.​

For those who are able to obtain an X-Droid they provide considerable amount of value both as a way for you to continue to enter X-Treme hunts and as a way you can earn by renting them to others.
